I had all my bottom teeth taken out & all the staff were brilliant, when they couldn't get hold of my dad they took me to the royal free hospital private department till the morning.
Fine and state of the art, but one asian bird should smile a bit more. If you dont like your job, bugger off and find something else to do!

This a calm, spacious "community" hospital with gardens, a large (and free) parking lot and a pleasant Costa's café. Other hospitals engender stress: this hospital is usually de-stressing. Volunteers in the busiest areas (cardiology in my experience, when attending a family member) may offer you free coffee and biscuits!
Great local hospital . Most staff friendly. Free parking excellent, but miles from any bus stop, hence only 4*.

I’ve had my first baby here last month. What can I say? The care was excellent. Antenatal care was exceptional. It’s sad to see how understaffed they are. Midwives work without a break. And sometimes there’s only one consultant to see about 20 women so the waiting can be long. However it’s not their fault. Everyone I saw during my pregnancy was really kind and helpful. I’ve had a c section which went really smoothly and recovery was easy too. Only downside of this hospital is the Victoria ward where they put you for recovery after birth. That place is horrible. However overall Barnet has been exceptionally good. Highly recommend their world class care.
I fell off a ladder and broke my pelvis and was taken to Barnet General. I was treated very well by the nursing staff. Food was very tasty and the ward was very clean and modern. I am very grateful for the nursing I received. Keep up the good work Barnet General.
